Clinic Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Clinic Manager to lead daily operations at a well‑established obstetrics and gynecology practice in Winnipeg. Reporting to the physician group, you will act as the central hub between doctors, staff, and external partners, ensuring smooth, patient‑focused clinic performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, maintaining efficiency, consistency, and high‑quality patient care.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate Medical Office Assistants, handling scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Manage staff schedules, vacation approvals, and coverage to guarantee continuity.
• Optimize patient intake, appointment scheduling, and overall clinic workflow.
• Handle clinic finances, including accounts payable, payroll, expense monitoring, and budget support using QuickBooks.
• Prepare regular financial and operational reports for physicians.
• Ensure accurate billing to Manitoba Health, support insurance claims, and maintain compliance with PHIA and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, equipment, and oversee facility upkeep.
• Develop and improve EMR system usage and other clinic processes.

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between physicians, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
