About the role
We are seeking a Class DZ truck driver with an air‑brake endorsement to join our team in Dartmouth, NS. The position involves local and regional deliveries, handling loads, and ensuring the safety and condition of the vehicle.
Key responsibilities
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Load and unload goods.
- Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of truck‑driving experience.
- Valid Class 5/5F/G licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
- Willingness to travel overnight for local/regional routes.
- Ability to handle physically demanding work and lift up to 23 kg.
Required skills
- GPS navigation and use of other navigation equipment.
- Operating a tractor‑trailer.
