Cladding Estimator

About the role

Bothwell-Accurate is a trusted leader in roofing, waterproofing, cladding and glazing solutions across British Columbia and Ontario. The Cladding Estimator will support the preparation of competitive and accurate bids for cladding and building envelope projects from our Mississauga head office.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, addenda and other bid documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and material measurements from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for cladding and building envelope projects.
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations, compare pricing and request clarifications.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals, including pricing breakdowns, scope, exclusions and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, Project Managers and internal team members to clarify scope and pricing.
• Track bids, proposals and tender information and maintain organized estimating documentation.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering, Building Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with interest in quantity take‑offs and cost estimation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PDF software such as PDF‑XChange or Bluebeam.
• Self‑motivated, dependable and detail‑oriented with a willingness to learn within a team environment.
