Civil Project Superintendent – Okanagan

About the role

Emil Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated Civil Project Superintendent to lead on‑site civil construction projects across British Columbia. Based in Kelowna, you will oversee crews, ensure safety and quality, and contribute to infrastructure that connects communities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary on‑site representative, managing client, public, labour and subcontractor interactions.
• Lead day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety, quality, environmental and traffic management plans.
• Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation and labour/equipment needs with the Project Manager and mechanical operations.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports, communicate site changes and recommend solutions.
• Maintain compliance with collective agreements and union relations, and drive continuous improvement of safety, quality and profitability.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in civil construction, including supervisory roles.
• Experience with difficult‑access grading, rock work and multi‑discipline bridge projects (asset).
• Experience in a unionized environment and Gold Seal Certification (asset).
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
