Civil Project Coordinator

About the role

Emil Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated Civil Project Coordinator to support highway, heavy civil, and municipal construction projects across British Columbia. Based in Kelowna, you will work outdoors on active sites, coordinating activities, assisting with surveying, and ensuring safe, efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and develop detailed schedules.
• Perform quality control assessments and conduct project inspections.
• Compile and complete accurate project reports.
• Assist the Project Superintendent with crew supervision and labour duties.
• Support site surveying, quantity take‑offs, and related documentation.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in civil engineering (completed or in progress).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to travel within British Columbia for project assignments.
• Problem‑solving mindset with clear communication skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts when required.
• Enjoyment of fast‑paced, outdoor construction environments.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Physical ability to navigate uneven terrain, climb slopes, and lift up to 20 kg.
• Local candidates preferred.
