About the role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home in Edmonton. The role involves supporting the family’s daily routine, ensuring children’s safety, and maintaining a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow parents' guidance for toilet training and discipline.
  • Assume full household responsibility when parents are absent, including light housekeeping.
  • Travel with the family, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping on trips.
  • Bath, dress, feed, and prepare nutritious meals for infants and children.
  • Maintain records of daily activities, health information, and children’s personal hygiene.
  • Organize games, outings, and other developmental activities.
  • Prepare children for rest periods and transport them to school, appointments, and activities.
  • Support children’s emotional well‑being and social development.

Required profile

  • Organized and reliable with strong time‑management skills.
  • Patient, honest, and able to follow parents’ methods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
