Child Care Provider – Private Home

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Child Care Provider to join a family in their private home in Toronto. The role involves caring for a multi‑aged group of children while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and linen care.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and support their social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Organise games, outings and other activities for the children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise children, transport them to school, appointments and extracurricular activities.
• Attend to the emotional well‑being of the children.

Required profile

• Efficient interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Flexibility, initiative, good judgement and strong organisational abilities.
• Reliability, patience, honesty and a clean criminal record.
