Child Care Provider – Private Home

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Provider to join a family in Calgary on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work in the employer’s home, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the children while supporting household needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Travel with the family on trips, supervising children and assisting with housekeeping duties.
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens.
• Discipline children according to parents’ guidelines and promote personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain daily activity and health records for the children.
• Organize games, outings, and other activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support children’s emotional well‑being, homework, and tutoring needs.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Physically able to handle repetitive tasks and lift up to 9 kg.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel regularly and be on‑call as needed.
