Chemist – AI Trainer (Remote, Canada)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced chemist to help train and evaluate AI chatbots that answer chemistry questions. Working remotely from Canada, you will design challenging chemistry prompts, assess the AI's responses, and provide feedback to improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create complex general, organic, and physical chemistry queries for AI chatbots.
• Review and score AI outputs for accuracy, logical consistency, and overall quality.
• Document evaluation results and suggest improvements to model developers.
• Track progress of multiple AI projects and report findings.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Solid knowledge of general, organic, and physical chemistry concepts.
• Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).
• Based in Canada and able to work independently as a contractor.
