Catering Service Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Catering Service Manager to lead our catering operations at Spicy 6 Fine Indian Cuisine in Vancouver. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering high‑quality service to clients and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate staff performance.
• Supervise daily catering activities and staff.
• Define service offerings and implement operational procedures.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently followed.
• Negotiate supply contracts with food and equipment vendors.
• Negotiate catering agreements with clients and facility users.
• Participate in marketing plan development and execution.
• Address customer complaints and provide excellent service.
• Coordinate special events and large‑scale functions.

Required profile

• College or equivalent certificate/diploma (3 months to <1 year) or comparable experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in catering or food service management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and strong customer‑service orientation.
