Carpenter – Permanent Full‑time Position

About the role

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our Edmonton team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and compliance with building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of carpentry experience.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Accurate measuring and layout preparation.
• Cutting, shaping and assembling wood and related materials.
• Using hand and power tools safely.
• Installing windows, doors, stairs and mouldings.
