Carpenter – Full‑time Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join AV Perfect Homes Ltd in Calgary on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work on residential construction projects, turning plans into finished structures while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on site and supervise other workers.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of carpentry experience.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and work safely on construction sites.

Required skills

• Blueprint reading.
• Measuring and cutting of wood and lightweight steel.
• Shaping, assembling and joining of construction materials.
• Installation of windows, doors, stairs and mouldings.
• Foundation and floor‑beam installation.
