Carpenter – Construction Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a motivated carpenter to join our construction team in Calgary. The role involves working on residential projects, ensuring high‑quality workmanship from foundation to finish. You will collaborate with site supervisors and contribute to timely project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare labour and material cost estimates.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel components.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate on‑site work activities.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
- 1–2 years of carpentry experience in residential construction.
