Carpenter – Construction Specialist

About the role
The company is seeking a skilled carpenter to join its framing team in Calgary. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ensuring structures meet code and design specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and other wooden structures.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant carpentry experience.
Required skills
- Blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with measuring tools.
- Woodworking techniques.
