Carpenter – Construction & Renovation

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled carpenter to work on residential and industrial projects in St. Pauls, NL. The role involves interpreting plans, constructing structural elements, and performing maintenance and renovations. Candidates must be ready to relocate and start on the advertised date.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes and lightweight steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub‑flooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Survey building locations and levels, and maintain, repair or renovate structures in various settings.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Willingness to relocate.
• Clear criminal record (criminal record check required).
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills
