About the role
We are looking for a part‑time cashier who can start as early as 6:00 am to greet customers, process transactions and support the front‑end team at The Home Depot store in Montréal.
Key responsibilities
- Greet each customer, engage them during the transaction and thank them for their business using the GET Involved approach.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, promoting services such as credit, extended warranty, tool rental and Pro Services.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and make appropriate suggestions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain safety, security and loss‑prevention procedures, helping to mitigate shrink.
- Provide a courteous and appreciative experience while minimizing checkout wait times.
Required profile
- Strong customer focus and effective communication skills.
- Ability to follow safety and loss‑prevention policies.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift and move items as needed.
- Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
