CADD Operator – Technical Drafting for Infrastructure Projects

About the role
The CADD Operator will create, modify, and manage technical drawings for construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, you will ensure accurate 2D and 3D documentation that meets project specifications and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical designs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to verify that drawings align with project requirements.
- Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Produce construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar software.
- Maintain systematic filing, revision control, and as‑built drawing records.
- Integrate CAD work with BIM workflows when required.
- Identify and correct drawing errors before final submission.
- Assist with quantity take‑offs and material estimates based on design drawings.
Required profile
- Diploma or Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience with Revit.
- Familiarity with MicroStation.
- Knowledge of BIM integration processes.
