About the role
We are seeking a Cable Installer to join our telecommunications team in Winnipeg. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining cable infrastructure for various projects.
Key responsibilities
- Test equipment to locate transmission faults and produce service reports.
- Install trunking systems, circuits, and related equipment.
- Connect, disconnect, relocate cable outlets and splice wires.
- Repair or replace faulty cables, power supplies, and amplifiers.
Required profile
- Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Required skills
- Cable testing.
- Trunking system installation.
- Cable repair.
- Cable splicing.
