About the role
We are seeking a motivated Cable Installer to join our telecommunications team in Winnipeg. In this permanent, full‑time position you will play a vital role in ensuring reliable cable infrastructure for our clients, performing installations, testing, and repairs on a variety of network components.
Key responsibilities
- Test equipment to locate transmission faults and document findings.
- Install trunking systems, circuits and related telecommunications equipment.
- Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as required.
- Repair or replace faulty cables, power supplies and amplifiers.
- Splice, join and connect wires, maintaining accurate service reports.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in cable installation or a related field.
- Ability to work on‑site in Winnipeg and follow safety procedures.
