About the role
We are looking for a skilled cabinetmaker to join our workshop in Saint‑Marc‑de‑Figuery. The successful candidate will work on producing and restoring wooden furniture and fixtures, following detailed plans and specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers to cut, shape and form components.
- Study plans, specifications or drawings to accurately produce required articles.
- Trim joints, fit parts and sub‑assemblies together, reinforcing joints to create complete units.
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of experience in cabinetmaking or related woodworking field.
Required skills
- Proficiency with power saws.
- Experience using jointers.
- Ability to operate mortisers.
- Skill in using shapers.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
