Cabinetmaker – Custom Woodworking

About the role

We are looking for a skilled cabinetmaker to join our team in Calgary. You will create custom‑made cabinets, ensuring high‑quality finishes and functional storage solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers to cut, shape and form cabinet components.
• Study plans, specifications or drawings to produce accurate parts.
• Trim joints, fit sub‑assemblies and reinforce connections to build complete units.
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, polish or laminated plastics.
• Estimate material requirements and costs for each project.
• Repair or restyle existing wooden furniture and fixtures.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of hands‑on cabinetmaking experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lb (13.5 kg).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team‑player with an organized work approach.
