Cabin Crew Training Instructor

About the role

Air Canada is seeking dynamic and proactive instructors to join its Cabin Crew Training Team. As a Cabin Crew Training Instructor you will help maintain the airline’s 4‑star Skytrax service ranking and safety reputation by training, coaching, and assessing cabin crew members.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and simulator training on customer service, commercial, safety, regulatory and service topics.
• Complete pre‑ and post‑training administration and provide on‑board, gate and support‑center coaching as needed.
• Assess trainee performance, give timely feedback, and support continuous improvement.
• Co‑lead special projects such as new aircraft introductions, IFE system roll‑outs, eLearning initiatives, and training design.
• Collaborate with Training Design and In‑Flight Service bases to support program development and audits.
• Participate in Train‑the‑Trainer sessions and recruitment activities for the training team.

Required profile

• Successful completion of flight attendant initial training and maintenance of flight attendant qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and embrace continuous improvement.
• High regard for health and safety, with solid leadership and conflict‑resolution abilities.
