Cabin Crew Member – Full‑Time (Richmond, BC)

About the role

WestJet’s Cabin Crew Members play a safety‑critical role, ensuring the well‑being of guests while delivering the exceptional service the airline is known for. You will balance regulatory compliance with creating a memorable travel experience, acting as an ambassador for WestJet both in the air and on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory standards, including the operation of safety and emergency equipment such as oxygen systems, life rafts, and evacuation slides.
• Provide exceptional in‑flight and ground service, completing service and sales in line with WestJet standards and anticipating traveler needs.
• Manage challenging situations with professionalism, maintaining poise and adhering to uniform and appearance policies.
• Ensure punctuality, reliability, and on‑time performance (SPOT) while being prepared to travel up to five nights away from home.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of customer‑service experience with a proven record of reliability and punctuality.
• Advanced written and spoken English; additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish) are an asset.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, lift 50 lb, and meet height and reach requirements (204 cm without shoes).
• Valid passport (or Canadian Permanent Resident card with necessary visas) and eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identification Card.
