Cabin Crew Manager – Temporary

About the role
Air Canada is seeking a temporary Cabin Crew Manager to lead and develop its in‑flight service team. The role combines on‑ground leadership with onboard presence, ensuring exceptional customer service, safety and operational standards across flights.
Key responsibilities
- Coach, motivate and engage frontline cabin crew, fostering a high‑performing team.
- Conduct disciplinary investigations, manage labour‑relation issues and handle on‑the‑spot problem solving during focus flights.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for specific routes and act as liaison between crew and corporate departments.
- Collaborate with IFS training and Customer Experience teams to identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Brief departing crews, communicate company policies, product expectations and corporate vision.
- Support irregular operations, STOC and other operational contingencies as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading, motivating and coaching teams.
- Completed Flight Attendant training program and current qualifications.
- Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict‑resolution and communication skills.
- Strong intercultural competence and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule, including shift changes.
