Buyer – Procurement

About the role

Join Cirque du Soleil’s Supply Chain team as a Buyer – Procurement, supporting the creation of world‑class productions. You will work in a hybrid model, spending four days a week at the Montreal head office, and collaborate with internal creative and production teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing of textile and fashion materials.

Key responsibilities

• Review, plan and process purchase requisitions for assigned product categories.
• Manage purchasing activities through SAP MRP, focusing on cost optimisation and quality control.
• Issue purchase orders, follow up on deliveries and ensure material availability.
• Communicate challenges to internal clients and propose solutions on sourcing, costs, lead times and product discontinuations.
• Conduct market analyses, identify new suppliers and advise production teams on textile materials.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, maintain SAP/MRP master data and lead‑time information.
• Act as liaison between Procurement and Creative teams for productions and special events.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in a technical or business‑related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the textile or fashion industry.
• Strong internal customer‑service orientation and ability to act as a business partner.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to commute to the Montreal office four days per week.
