Business Intelligence Analyst – Advanced Excel (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in Excel to support AI model training initiatives. This remote contract position involves turning raw data into actionable insights that improve model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage advanced Excel features (Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, data modeling) to structure, analyze, and present data.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver insightful BI solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for AI systems.
• Develop and document BI workflows with clear written and verbal communication.
• Translate business questions into actionable data insights for model improvement.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel for AI training.

Required profile

• Strong experience in business intelligence or analytics with a focus on Excel.
• Exceptional proficiency in Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time and deliverables remotely.
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience cleaning, preparing, and validating large datasets for analytics or AI training.
