Building Operator

About the role

The Building Operator is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of Sheridan Centre, a large retail property in Mississauga. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all building systems run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations, providing a comfortable environment for tenants, customers, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life‑safety systems.
• Monitor system performance and adjust controls to meet energy‑efficiency and comfort standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors and trades for specialized work and preventive maintenance.
• Respond promptly to service requests from tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk‑management activities.
