Building Maintenance Worker

About the role

We are looking for a Building Maintenance Worker to join the Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel in Niagara Falls. The role involves maintaining the hotel’s facilities, performing minor repairs, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Carry out minor appliance repairs and routine maintenance such as painting and drywall work.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• No formal degree required; WHMIS certification required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and flexible availability for morning, evening, on‑call, weekend and overtime shifts.

Required skills

• HVAC (heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning) maintenance.
• Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting.
• Appliance repair.
• Painting and drywall repair.
• Snow and ice removal.
