Bottle Depot Supervisor

About the role

The Bottle Depot Supervisor oversees daily operations at the Summerside Bottle Depot in Edmonton. This role coordinates staff, manages inventory, and ensures safety and environmental standards are met in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will lead a team of 3‑4 employees, schedule work, and ensure compliance with safety gear requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other work units and departments.
• Prepare and submit operational reports.
• Arrange maintenance and repair work for equipment.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend productivity improvements.
• Train workers on duties, policies and safety procedures.
• Order materials, equipment and supplies and maintain inventory records.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience supervising a small team (3‑4 people) in a retail or depot setting.
• Accurate, organized and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility, initiative and strong teamwork orientation.
• Commitment to positive environmental outcomes (green job).
