Bogie Project Engineer Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Bogie Project Engineer Manager to lead the definition and development of mechanical bogie systems for our rail portfolio. Based in St‑Bruno, QC, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence from concept through industrialisation and service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee product technical relevance and compliance with contractual requirements, including RAMS, fire/smoke, and eco‑design criteria.
• Manage project technical aspects, coordinating internal teams and external customers, suppliers, and cost control.
• Provide timely input data, monitor supplier lead times, and meet production deadlines.
• Lead design reviews, create and approve technical documentation, and oversee validation plans (routine, type, and line tests).
• Optimize product development costs and respond to tender opportunities.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5‑10 years of experience as a bogie industrial designer.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities, leadership, autonomy, and team spirit.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain rigorous standards.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English; additional language is a plus.
