Biologist – Ecotoxicology (Signer)

Key responsibilities

• Perform analyses on samples and complex sample preparation following SOPs.
• Approve and sign data reports (Level I and, when required, Level II validation).
• Generate and fax reports to clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain instruments, troubleshoot analyses, and recommend SOP revisions.
• Coordinate laboratory projects, implement and validate new methods, and write SOPs.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Biology, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in ecotoxicology within an accredited environmental laboratory.
• Experience with daphnia and algae testing is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong record‑keeping and attention to detail.
