BIM Coordinator

About the role

The BIM Coordinator will support the digital delivery of a major infrastructure project for ACCIONA in Ontario. This role is central to developing, coordinating and implementing BIM processes throughout the design and construction phases, ensuring that all digital information meets contractual and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), guides and protocols during the design phase.
• Ensure design information complies with contractual requirements, BEP and BIM/CAD/GIS standards.
• Coordinate communication with design consultants and oversee information workflows within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Monitor BIM deliverables from design partners and subcontractors, perform clash detection and manage design conflicts using BCF workflows.
• Maintain and update federated models, integrate laser‑scan data and produce As‑Built models.
• Create and manage BIM object and design script libraries, and support quantity take‑offs for scheduling and trade coordination.
• Provide BIM navigation and workflow training to project teams.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and follow BIM Execution Plans and related protocols.
• Experience coordinating BIM deliverables across multiple design partners and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of contractual BIM requirements and project standards.
