Billing Clerk

About the role

The Billing Clerk supports the billing department by ensuring accurate data entry, generating invoices, and resolving billing inquiries. This full‑time position is based in Surrey, BC and plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Verify data entered into the accounting system to guarantee accurate final bills.
• Manage high volumes of data and approvals in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and time‑sensitive tasks.
• Support other billing areas as needed and suggest process improvements.
• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, discrepancies, and adjustments while providing excellent service.
• Prepare reports for management and assist project teams with billing and accounts‑receivable support.
• Provide audit support, investigate anomalies, and handle special projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a billing support or general accounting role.
• Experience in the transportation industry is a strong asset.
• High school diploma; additional accounting education is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines.
