Bilingual Payroll Analyst

About the role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, on‑time payroll for unionized and non‑unionized employees across Canada. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll from end to end.
• Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy.
• Address payroll issues promptly.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders.
• Process monthly accruals.
• Maintain elections and benefits.
• Champion process improvement, technology updates, and enhancements to optimise payroll services.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary diploma; PCP designation preferred.
• Technical expertise in analytical skills, MS Excel, reporting, payroll employment standards, full‑cycle and unionized payrolls.
• Experience with large‑volume payroll administration, collective agreements, basic accounting, and year‑end compliance.
• Knowledge of Dayforce or Workday and bilingual French/English communication.
