Bartender

About the role

Join The Fort Pub & Grill as a bartender, serving guests in a lively restaurant and entertainment environment in Edmonton. You’ll be responsible for preparing drinks, handling transactions and ensuring a clean, welcoming bar area during evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and the draft beer system.
• Prepare and serve mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Take beverage orders from patrons or serving staff and operate the cash register and video lottery terminal.
• Collect payments, record and balance beverage sales, and manage cash handling.
• Order, store, and control bar inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and provide recommendations on drink selections.

Required profile

• Strong client focus with excellent oral communication.
• Organized, reliable and able to work well in a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
