About the role
Tim Hortons in Courtenay is seeking a dedicated baker to join our team. The role involves preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency, and supporting a safe, clean kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, and icings according to recipes or special orders.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, scheduling shifts as needed.
- Frost and decorate cakes and other baked items.
- Oversee safety of operations and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Complete onboarding documentation and other required logs.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of baking experience.
