Backend Developer – Python & Java

About the role

Moment Factory is looking for a Backend Developer to join its enterprise applications team. You will design, build, and maintain software solutions that streamline the company’s information flows and support its multimedia projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy backend applications using Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure secure data exchange (JSON, XML).
• Integrate enterprise systems, monitor performance, and optimise reliability.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and documentation for deployed services.
• Leverage AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model complex business processes.
• Bilingual French/English with advanced intermediate English for support and training.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
