Automotive Mechanic – Full-time Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our Edmonton workshop on a permanent, full‑time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm findings with the supervisor to decide on repair or replacement of units.
• Inspect and test mechanical units, including engines, brakes, suspension, hydraulic, fuel, emission, ignition, electrical and automatic transmission systems.
• Road‑test vehicles and perform diagnostic checks on automotive systems and components.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components, and test repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Estimate parts and labour costs and complete scheduled maintenance services.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting problems and work performed.
