Auth0 Engineer II – Observability (Remote)

About the role

The Client Platform Observability team is seeking an Auth0 Engineer II focused on observability. In this fully remote contract role you will help product and platform engineers monitor and observe the CIC platform while supporting rapid software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Run services in production environments and design for high growth and high availability.
• Provision, configure, and monitor cloud‑native infrastructure and services.
• Automate key processes and operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
• Assist with performance testing, automation, and feedback.
• Collaborate with product engineers to provision infrastructure and enhance observability across teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of platform operations engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and error‑reporting tools like Sentry.
• Proficiency in managing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Strong programming skills in Golang, Node.js, or Python.
• Understanding of microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and distributed application monitoring.
• Team player willing to voice opinions.
