About the role

Join The Home Depot Canada as a part‑time Customer Service Counter Associate. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, helping them find the right products and solutions for their home improvement projects while delivering a friendly, efficient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to inquiries about products, services, and store policies.
• Assist shoppers in locating items, providing product information, and recommending alternatives.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked service counter and surrounding area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory availability and timely replenishment.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English; French language ability is an asset.
• Enthusiastic, customer‑focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible part‑time hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic math skills and comfort using retail technology.
