About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking a friendly, motivated Store Operations Associate to join its Mont‑Laurier team. You will ensure smooth daily store functions, from cash handling to inventory accuracy, while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Balance cash registers, prepare bank deposits and enter daily cash reports.
• Train associates on SKU/pricing issues, print signs and labels, and operate the RF unit.
• Maintain perpetual inventory integrity and product pricing.
• Conduct and participate in cycle counts.
• Follow best practices for receiving and processing merchandise.
• Enforce health, safety and loss‑prevention policies.

Required profile

• Effective analytical and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, vendors and team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
