Associate Director, Direct-to-Consumer (Banking)

About the role

The Associate Director, Direct‑to‑Consumer will lead EQ Bank’s reverse‑mortgage D2C channel, owning the full consumer journey from acquisition through retention. Reporting to the VP, Decumulation, the role drives growth, profitability and operational excellence across sales, marketing, technology and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Direct‑to‑Consumer growth strategy, setting annual sales, marketing and P&L targets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across sales, marketing, operations and technology to deliver a seamless customer journey from acquisition to retention.
• Oversee lead generation, inbound lead management and conversion funnels, optimizing CAC, lead quality and funding rates.
• Build and refine processes, CRM and digital tools to ensure data quality, compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Champion digital transformation using automation, analytics, AI lead scoring and chatbots to improve efficiency and experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Direct‑to‑Consumer leadership, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing sales and marketing organisations.
• Strong analytical, strategic and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into action.
