Assistant·e d'enseignement – Linguistique et traduction

About the role

We are looking for a teaching assistant to support the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the Université de Montréal. The role is intended for students enrolled in undergraduate, master’s or doctoral programs in linguistics and translation, who wish to gain pedagogical experience while assisting with course assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Correct assignments, mid‑term and final examinations for linguistics and translation courses.
• Supervise the administration of mid‑term and final exams.
• Provide feedback to students and support instructors as needed.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time in a first, second or third cycle program in linguistics and/or translation at the Université de Montréal for the Fall 2026 term.
• Completed the relevant courses or demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the subject matter.
• Strong pedagogical aptitude and an outstanding academic record.
• International students must hold a valid study permit.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of linguistics and translation concepts.
