Assistant Store Manager – Retail

About the role

Our Retail team is looking for an Assistant Store Manager at our Fairview Mall location. Main responsibilities include delivering excellent customer experience and fostering growth and development to the team. You will ensure operational excellence by performing managerial tasks such as scheduling, maintaining inventory, and evaluating employee performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the team to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving sales.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
• Train and develop a team focused on delivering outstanding experiences to the community.
• Generate business results and achieve key performance indicators.
• Oversee sales, merchandising, visual standards, and operational expectations.
• Act as a partner between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Stay informed on product knowledge, trends, and upcoming releases.
• Support store initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Engage in community outreach to proactively grow the business.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Motivated to achieve great results through interaction with customers and athletic products.
• Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
• Resourceful and versatile in a rapidly changing omni‑channel retail environment.
• High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
