Assistant Store Manager

About the role

SeaGo HR is launching Canada’s first DJI Authorized Experience Store in West Edmonton Mall. We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in this flagship location.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in meeting sales targets and performance metrics such as conversion rate and average transaction value.
• Supervise, coach, schedule, and develop a team of 5‑6 Sales Representatives.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure a high‑quality shopping experience.
• Act as Manager‑on‑Duty, overseeing store operations when the Store Manager is absent.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and DJI product demonstration areas.
• Support inventory management, cycle counts, stock replenishment, and loss‑prevention activities.
• Assist customers with warranty inquiries, repairs, and after‑sales support.
• Contribute to new store openings, product launches, and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in consumer electronics or premium retail.
• Proven ability to achieve or contribute to sales targets.
• Strong communication, coaching, and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent customer service and problem‑resolution skills.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to work flexible retail hours.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems.
• Familiarity with inventory management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
