Assistant Store Manager in Training – Smart Centres Aurora

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Training to join our Smart Centres store in Aurora. The role provides an immersive, rotational training program designed to develop leadership and operational expertise across all store functions. You will work closely with the Store Manager to support sales, expense, and customer service goals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑the‑job training covering merchandising, customer service, and store operations.
• Learn and analyze store sales reports, expenses, payroll budgets, shrink targets, and customer service metrics.
• Oversee assigned areas such as merchandising, frontline, fitting rooms, jewelry, maintenance, cash office, markdowns, scheduling, and shipping/receiving.
• Support the implementation of store action plans, upcoming projects, and company initiatives.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets, expense management, shrink reduction, damage control, and customer service excellence.
