Assistant Store Manager – Corral Centre

About the role

Winners is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Corral Centre location in Brandon. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, control expenses, and create a welcoming environment for customers and associates.

Key responsibilities

• Support store performance by monitoring sales, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, back‑room, cash office, and customer service.
• Lead loss‑prevention initiatives, minimize shrink and damages, and ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.
• Recruit, train, and develop associates, acting as a mentor and role model.
• Communicate and execute action plans for company initiatives, store changes, and succession planning.
• Maintain store layout, improve operational efficiency, and meet sales, expense, and service targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the capacity to give effective feedback.
• Solid understanding of store operations, merchandising, and customer service.
