About the role
Join the Confectionery team as a member of the official Break squad! We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager, KitKat based at our North York office. You will play a central role in shaping strategic planning, supporting breakthrough marketing campaigns, and driving product and portfolio decisions for the iconic KitKat brand.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and interpret multiple sources of data (including AC Nielsen, Customer POS, Consumer Research, Financials) to develop a comprehensive understanding of category dynamics and business health.
- Support the annual planning process by reviewing business performance, consumer trends, and category dynamics.
- Support planning and commercialization of innovation and renovation projects, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver successful launches.
- Ensure marketing activities align with brand fundamentals while seeking opportunities to strengthen consumer engagement and brand relevance.
- Monitor and optimize marketing investments to maximize business impact.
- Collaborate with agencies, partners, and internal stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives with excellence.
- Build strong relationships across functions and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of marketing or related experience; CPG experience strongly preferred.
- University degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, comfortable working independently and within a large matrix organization.
- Curious and resourceful, able to look beyond the surface of challenges and pursue solutions.
- Proactive, self‑motivated and results‑focused mindset with agility to manage change.
- Positive attitude and desire to energize a team and contribute to a winning culture.
