Assistant Manager – Retail

About the role

Join EB Games Canada as an Assistant Manager in our Pointe‑Claire store, supporting daily operations and delivering an exceptional gaming retail experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a team, manage inventory, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee performance.
• Determine merchandise mix and services to be offered.
• Assess staffing needs and adjust resources accordingly.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2–3 years of retail or customer‑service experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a busy store.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and goal‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
