Architecture Project Lead

About the role

The Architecture Project Lead is a full‑time, senior position responsible for guiding high‑end residential projects from concept through construction. The role requires a self‑starter who can collaborate with internal design teams and serve affluent homeowners and business clients across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project narrative and design direction in partnership with Principals and the Director of Architecture.
• Manage staff workflow, budgets and schedules to keep projects on track.
• Oversee production of all drawings and deliverables through every project phase.
• Coordinate with consultants, interior design and construction teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Lead the planning and approvals process and act as primary liaison with clients.
• Mentor junior staff and promote Audax’s Human Architecture philosophy.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture and intent to obtain OAA licensure.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design, from schematic design to construction administration.
• Proven experience with multi‑unit mid‑rise/high‑rise residential and luxury housing projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, building science, detailing and construction methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
